Sprint Filter P08 F1-85 air filter: the test results speak for themselves

In the world of racing, performance is everything. That’s why the Itaba Racing Team, competing in the italian Stock 600 class with their Honda CBR600 RR 2025, conducted a rigorous test to determine just how well the P08 F1-85 air filter performs. And the numbers don’t lie.

The Test Setup

The Itaba Racing Team’s bike was configured to Stock 600 championship standards:

  • Engine: Original
  • Exhaust System: Full Spark exhaust
  • Electronics: HRC ECU
  • Velocity Stacks: Carraro Engineering
  • No Air in Airbox
  • PAIR System Removed

All tests were carried out on a Dynojet 250i dynamometer, ensuring accurate and repeatable results.

The Results

First, the team tested the bike with the stock Honda air filter (without the OE aluminum mesh), achieving 120.68 HP. Then, they swapped in the Sprint Filter P08 F1-85 air filter, making no changes to fueling or any other settings. The result? 123,11 HP.

Not only did the bike gain +2,43 HP, but torque saw a significant boost as well, climbing from 6.37 kgm to 6.50 kgm. In real-world terms, this means a more responsive throttle, better acceleration, and improved overall performance.

Real Performance, Real Gains

This test proves that the Sprint Filter P08 F1-85 is a true performance upgrade, delivering measurable improvements without requiring additional modifications. The Itaba Racing Team’s independent test confirms that this air filter provides a clear advantage, ensuring more power and better efficiency—two key factors in competitive racing.
