Sprint Filter powers a winning weekend: Di Giannantonio triumphs in MotoGP and many other mores successes comes

The lights went out on another unforgettable race weekend, with Sprint Filter-supported teams once again delivering speed, victories, and exceptional performances across the globe. 

From MotoGP glory in Barcelona to victories across WorldSBK, British Superbike, MotoAmerica, and supporting categories like Supersport and Sportbike, Sprint Filter riders delivered remarkable results on tracks around the world.

MotoGP

The headline act came from Barcelona, where Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46 Racing team – Ducati) secured the win in MotoGP race after a chaotic and brutal weekend. After securing fourth place in Saturday’s Sprint race, the Italian rider delivered when it mattered most, taking an outstanding victory in the Grand Prix race after two scary accidents that caused two red flags. 

The Sprint race had already shown the strength of the Sprint Filter-supported riders, with Jorge Martin finishing third and Di Giannantonio close behind in fourth. The dramatic Sunday then brought valuable points for Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) crossed the line in fourth position, reinforcing his leadership in the championship. 

The overall standings tell the story of a season shaped by Sprint Filter supported team: Marco Bezzecchi leads, Jorge Martin sits second, and Fabio Di Giannantonio now occupies third place — a complete Sprint Filter presence at the top of MotoGP.

World Superbike Championship

The celebrations continued in the World Superbike paddock at Most, in the Czech Republic. Montella secured a remarkable hat-trick of podium finishes with third place in Race 1, third place in the Superpole Race, and another third place in Race 2. Consistency and determination have moved Montella to third place in the overall standings.

The World Sportbike category delivered an even stronger statement. In Race 1 Matteo Vannucci (Aprilia Revo M-2) claimed the first victory for Aprilia in the new Sportbike champion, while Antonio Torres and Kawasaki Prodina answered in Race 2 with another victory. The podiums kept coming as David Salvador secured third place finishes in both races, while Ieraci added a second-place result for Triumph CM Racing. These performances are reflected in the championship standings, with David Salvador leading the series, Antonio Torres second, and Matteo Vannucci fourth.

BSB – British Superbike Championship

In the British Superbike Championship at Donington Park delivered toke place another dominant display by the Nitrous Competition Racing Ducati. Kyle Ryde stepped onto the podium in the Superbike category with third place in Race 1 before taking complete control on Sunday, winning both Race 2 and Race 3. His performances maintain his lead in the championship standings, while Leon Haslam (Motorapido) remains firmly in contention in third place overall.

The British Supersport category also brought success through Luke Stapleford (Scars Racing), who followed a second-place finish in Race 1 with a victory in Race 2. Those results keep him at the top of the championship standings.

MotoAmerica

On the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, MotoAmerica at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama produced a perfect weekend for Mathew Scholtz (Strack Racing Yamaha). Two races, two victories, and a stronger hold on the championship lead.

MotoAmerica Supersport also added more silverware to an already crowded weekend. Josh Herrin (Rahal Ducati Moto) won Race 1 while Kayla Yaakov (Rahal Ducati Moto) secured third place, before Race 2 saw Yaakov finish second and Herrin narrowly miss the podium in fourth.

Hank Vossberg was the undisputed star of the third round of the Twins Cup, the intermediate class of the American championship, delivering a spectacular double victory in Race 1 and Race 2. Starting from pole position, the 15-year-old talent of the Robem Engineering team claimed two dominant solo wins, proving to be exceptionally fast and competitive aboard his Aprilia RS 660 right from the opening session on Friday. Thanks to these results, Vossberg continues to hold a firm lead in the overall standings with 136 points, enjoying a commanding 45-point advantage over his closest rival.
